To be sure all ages and walks of life are affected, Satan invented another tool to lure multitudes to turn to his worship.
The advent of science fiction and fantasy books started gaining grounds in late 70′s and 80′s and with the great welcoming reception of the eager recipients the number of publications, movies, videos and books multiplied many thousands folds.
This industry is now considered to be one of top producers of entertainment material and among most profitable in the world.
Satan has taken his evil plots to the ultimate level by deceiving millions and making fun and exciting the stories of creatures, or so called men/gods who have super power. In many cases such super powers or those who fight them have satanic faces and bodies. They perform acts that no human can do. Thus those who consume these kinds of entertainment begin to compare them with God and find that really God has no place in their lives as they already have super powers that can do everything for their imagination.
Yet the real world they live in is void of these super powers or magical creatures. The real world is no longer fun, exciting and full of events. The addicts to science fiction or fantasy find themselves satisfied only by putting themselves in this satanic world/cocoon.
They begin to feel affinity toward dark forces, magic games, dark music and satanic shaped creatures and pictures. They live in two different worlds, but one is as everyone else lives, and the other is what Satan calls them to live in.
Studies show that many of the younger generation who have come to adulthood having been exposed to years of satanic material of all source, find themselves disturbed and confused in many areas. They do not move forward with life as others. Their mind is affected in a negative way.
Insomnia
Although stress, anxiety and depressions are among many causes of insomnia, the one neglected and over-looked cause may very well be due to prolonged exposure to over stimulation of the mind via science fiction and fantasy entertainment as well as magic and unnatural games…
Not only the over-stimulation can cause insomnia, but the effect of satanic elements themselves cannot be overstated.
The mind has been stimulated to its max to the point of not being able to cope with natural sleep and many of life’s functions.
I happened to accidentally bump into a science fiction movie which I did not know the name at the time.
It is paramount to understand that Satan has only one goal for the humankind and that is to drag them to Hell where he, himself and his host will end up. He knows very well if he makes people fond of satanic elements, they would surly leave worshiping the Creator and follow him. That is his ultimate goal.
Such persons have no idea that they are sized by Satan in a very serious way. Their judgment in important life matters are distorted as adults, and as children they are unsatisfied with anything parents offer, as it is not as exciting as what the never-ending imaginative games and stories offer them.
One advocate of science fiction writes:
“I’m a proselytizer. I like to spread the word: Science fiction, fantasy, and everything that lies in between and bleeds around the edges are great choices of reading material.” [i]
It may be less likely that the parents really take the time to watch science fiction movies, read such books or play the games, or else they would be clearly warned, if they are God-conscious.
I happened to accidentally bump into a science fiction movie which I did not know the name at the time. Later my son told me it was The Lord of the Rings – sale: $150 million [ii]. I was absolutely shocked of what I saw.
So many creatures look like Satan, the face of a beautiful woman who was talking to the young boy turned into the face of the devil. An older man was devoured by a flame breathing dragon; the ring was magical and flocks of little creatures looking exactly like devils attacking those in the cave and many more scenes that made my stomach sick and had to turn off the TV. I think I only watched 15 to 20 minutes of it and I had a hard time with sleep that night.
What about our kids who grow up watching these kinds of movies, reading or playing games as these demonic creatures become their companions?
Who do you think they will end up worshiping?
Allah or Satan?
You guessed it right! What are you going to do about it?
Islam Has the Answer!
Since the source of magic and all evil comes from Satan, Allah warns us:
{Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his followers that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.} (Fatir 35:6)
The answer is clear. Believe and put your trust in Allah. The stronger our belief, the less power Satan has over us.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said to avoid Practicing sorcery, which is among seven destructive things… (Al-Bukhari, 28)
He also said:
“Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes in what he says has denied what was revealed to Muhammad,” (At-Tirmidhi, 135)
Allah, the most Gracious, the Most Merciful has given us ample warning about Satan. He even informs us about Satan’s admission on the Day of Judgment that Allah is the truthful while he is a liar and helpless, blaming his followers for listening to his lies.
{And Shaitan (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: ‘Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you…} (Ibrahim 14: 22)
How to Protect from Satan?
The answer is clear. Believe and put your trust in Allah. The stronger our belief, the less power Satan has over us.
{Verily! He (Satan) has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah)} (An-Nahl 16: 99)
Indulging in satanic sources of any kinds falls no short of worshiping him. Is it not time to be vigilant?
Millions of people have been deceived by Satan and are continuing in their worship of the enemy of Allah without realizing it.
Nearly every Muslim household is afflicted by this plague and its inhabitants are fully ignorant of the danger. Christians are much more vigilant and are spending millions in publishing books for parents and schools, warning them about the dangers of all the above-mentioned lures of Satan.
While I was homeschooling my children in California in the 1990s I found much support with the Christian home schooling mothers. Their stance on satanic forces is nearly the same as Islam. I am still very thankful for their support and warnings.
Many families are confronted with huge problems once their kids leave home and enter universities. There, they are connected with kids who did not have same types of supervision and over time the peer pressure builds up and those weak in faith plunge right into the trap that their parents worked so hard to keep them away from.
Any Way Out?
Oh you who feel self sufficient, turn to your Lord with humility and submission. Worship Him only and resolve to abandon all forms of evil games, magic games, dark music and science fiction and protect your family from it all.
Everything starts with the first step. What is the first step?
Repentance
Allah forgives all sins except associating partners with Him. Parents who, ignorantly, exposed their children or allowed them to fall into Satanic traps must first realize the enormous danger and take immediate steps to remedy the situation.
Repentance is the first start, next by proper educating of themselves and their loved ones about Allah, the Quran and strengthening the beliefs. They must also provide healthy entertainment for the whole family.
Blaming
One thing to avoid is blaming yourself or others without proper follow up plan. Blaming oneself for the sake of Allah and purification is a praiseworthy deed only when it is followed by corrective steps.
Many who are reading this article may realize that they themselves are the victims and they may not even have a family yet.
Start praying regularly, as prayer is a shield against Satan.
To realize if you are one of the victims, please go to Google image and click on science fiction, dark music, fiction. You will not be on this planet and the characters surely do not resemble any godly characters, but mostly demonic. You judge and see where you or your loved ones are and if you are really serious to leave behind this dark side of your life and enter into a new path of light.
Realizing the wrong entails repenting to Allah and asking Him for help. This must be followed by giving up all elements that are directly or indirectly connected with satanic influence. This would be very hard for the ones who are addicted to such entertainments. Nothing will satisfy their complex mind now. But if they wish to function as normal human beings, with the health of spirit, body and most of all peace of mind, they must be willing to declare war against Satan and resist all forms of temptation to sneak back into the trap.
Prayer
Start praying regularly, as prayer is a shield against Satan. One who prays will be less likely to commit sin and be unconscious about it. He will also be much stronger to shun evil of any kind.
{Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness…} (23:1-2)
Supplicate often asking Allah to soften your heart toward faith and read the Quran like your life depends on it. Well, it does!
{O you who believer! Seek help in patience and Salat (prayer). Truly! Allah is with the patient.} (2:153)
The Prophet recommended all believers to read the following verses before going to sleep as well as other times in order to seek protection from Satanic forces. They should surely be included in the daily prayer.
{In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say I seek refuge in the in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which he created; From the evil of the darkness when it is intense, and from the evil of malignant witchcraft, And from the evil of the envious when he envies.} (113)
{In the name of Allah the beneficent, the Merciful. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The King of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the sneaking whisper, Who whispers in the hearts of mankind, Of the jinn and of mankind.} (114)
