Who is Allah?

• Surah Ale Imran (Family of Imran 3:6)

• هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٦

• He is the One Who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills. There

is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise.

•  Surah Ale Imran (Family of Imran 3:7)

• هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِنْهُ ءَايَـٰتٌۭ مُّحْكَمَـٰتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَـٰبِهَـٰتٌۭ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌۭ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا

تَشَـٰبَهَ مِنْهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ ٱلْفِتْنَةِ وَٱبْتِغَآءَ تَأْوِيلِهِۦ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ فِى ٱلْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ كُلٌّۭ مِّنْ عِندِ

رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ ٧

• He is the One Who has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book, of which some

verses are precise—they are the foundation of the Book—while others are

elusive. Those with deviant hearts follow the elusive verses seeking ˹to spread˺

doubt through their ˹false˺ interpretations—but none grasps their ˹full˺ meaning

except Allah. As for those well-grounded in knowledge, they say, “We believe in

this ˹Quran˺—it is all from our Lord.” But none will be mindful ˹of this˺ except

people of reason.

•  Surah Ale Imran (Family of Imran 3:18)

• شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ قَآئِمًۢا بِٱلْقِسْطِ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ١٨

• Allah ˹Himself˺ is a Witness that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except

Him—and so are the angels and people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of

justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise.

•  Surah Ale Imran (Family of Imran 3:26)

• قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَـٰلِكَ ٱلْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى ٱلْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُ بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ

عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ ٢٦

• Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O Allah! Lord over all authorities! You give authority to

whoever You please and remove it from who You please; You honour whoever

You please and disgrace who You please—all good is in Your Hands. Surely You

˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything.

•  Surah Ale Imran (Family of Imran 3:27)

• تُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ

حِسَابٍۢ ٢٧

• You cause the night to pass into the day and the day into the night. You bring

forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. And You provide for

whoever You will without limit.”

• بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ ٢٦

• —all good is in Your Hands. Surely You ˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything.
